The 2025 Roswell National Championship Air Races will be the first edition of the re-invented NCAR. This year this unique aviation event will be held at the Roswell Airport (KROW), from September 7-14, 2025.
For racers, the schedule is similar to previous NCAR schedules, with an initial arrival deadline of 1200 on Saturday, Sept 7. Sport Class in in negotiations with RARA to conduct Course Differences Training* the day prior. Arrival deadline for those needing Course Differences Training will be 1200 Thursday, Sept 5. In-briefs, practice, qualifying and racing schedules will be similar to previous NCAR events.

The Roswell NCAR will be open to entry by all current Sport Class Air Racing pilots, as follows:
- Pilots must hold a 2025 Sport Class Air Racing
- Pilots must have attended PRS in Roswell in May 2025, or
- Pilots must have attended PRTC in Las Cruces in May 2025
- Pilots that attended only PRTC in Las Cruces must complete Course Differences Training*
- Pilots that did not attend either 2025 PRTC or 2025 PRS, will not be allowed to race in the Roswell NCAR, no exceptions
NOTE: RARA PRS applications are completed via an online application program hosted by RARA.
NOTE: The NCAR application process is initiated with an Invitation Letter from the RARA CEO, and will contain additional information and instructions. That Invitation Letter will be forwarded from the Sport Class President to all eligible racers (Certified and Rookie)
* Course Differences Training for the Roswell NCAR is subject to approval by RARA. As of 2/22/25, this remains in negotiation.
